The Minnesota Technology Association (MnTech) believes Minnesota’s technology-driven companies achieve the greatest success when they have access to exceptional talent, dedicated public policy advocates, and are part of an innovative, inclusive technology community. For more than 30 years, the Minnesota Technology Association has helped nurture each of these attributes within our state, enabling Minnesota technology-driven businesses, professionals, and communities to thrive.
Our member companies work the spectrum of technology, from IT, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, fintech, agtech, cleantech, and edutech, and range from long-established corporations to small and growing startups.
The SciTech Internship Program, MnTech's premier workforce development initiative, connects college students in STEM majors with paid internships in small Minnesota companies. SciTech is funded by the State of Minnesota and is free for both students and employers. In addition, the SciTech team partners with LS-NSSA to share job search tips via workshops throughout the school year. Learn more at SciTechMN.org.
LSAMP Activities
The MHTA hosts each fall the Tekne Awards for technology innovation in Minnesota. Awards range across technological applications, from manufacturing innovation to service, teaching and executive leadership. MHTA invites corporations to host students at their tables.
