Science Ambassador Scholarship

The Science Ambassador Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship for women in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). It is funded by Cards Against Humanity. Applications Open Fall 2025.

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment. In 2025, the Udall Foundation anticipates awarding 55 scholarships of up to $7,000 each. The Udall scholarship honors the legacies of Morris Udall and Stewart Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources. Application Deadline:  March 4, 2025.

Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Earnest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship provides successful undergraduate applicants with awards that include: up to $9,500 scholarship for two years, travel funds to attend a mandatory NOAA Scholarship Program orientation and the annual Science & Education Symposium, and paid summer internship at a NOAA facility after first year. Application Deadline: January 31, 2025.

The University of Minnesota works with many generous donors to secure private scholarship support. Last year, thousands of students received scholarships from private donations. The number of students receiving private support is constantly increasing as the University continues its major scholarship fundraising drive.
